Warehouse style extension

We were tasked with replacing a lean-to conservatory with an open plan extension finished in an industrial warehouse style. We achieved this through reclaimed materials, 19th Century brick work and adopting traditional building methods such as melting wax on the reclaimed bricks to seal and age them.

Keys features of the new extension included bi-fold doors and a raised deck to create a smooth flow between indoors and outdoors, a large roof lantern to flood the new extension with light, thermal upgrading including new roof with high end insulation, a sleek new kitchen with imported granite worktops and a new downstairs shower room.

We worked closely with building control to achieve all of the client’s requirements and minimise disruption to their vision.

  • TD Construction helped us realise our dream in building our new extension. Tom helped bring the architect’s plans to life and added some additional features to the build. Tom was friendly and easy to deal with. A year later, we’re still saying it was the best thing we have done to our house!
